When someone mentions the "Renaissance" hitmaker, they automatically think of Jay-Z, after all, the pair have been dubbed as the music industry's power couple.
The "Empire State of Mind" rapper recently made waves for calling out the Recording Academy for snubbing Beyonce during the 2024 Grammy Awards: "She has more Grammys than everyone and never won Album of the Year.
"So even by your own metrics, that doesn't work. Think about that. The most Grammys never won Album of the Year. That doesn't work."
While it may seem Jay-Z is a devoted husband and supportive partner, many still send him the side-eye for having a "problematic" dating history.
Jay-Z Dating Beyonce at 16?
Jay-Z and Beyonce's dating timeline is a little foggy, since there have been allegations that the couple began dating long before the "Break My Soul" singer became legal.
However, according to People Magazine, Beyonce claimed that she began dating Hov when was was 19 years old.
"We were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any dates," the singer told Oprah Winfrey.
"We were on the phone for a year and a half, and that foundation is so important for a relationship. Just to have someone who you just like is so important, and someone [who] is honest."
By April 2008, Jay-Z and Beyonce tied the knot; the wedding was held at his Manhattan penthouse and was very intimate.
However, in May 2014, video footage of Beyonce's sister, Solange, attacked the rapper over an alleged affair. The clip was leaked online and it went viral.

The "Magna Carta Holy Grail" hitmaker was linked to several high-profile celebrities before he dated Beyonce.
According to the Who's Dating Who website, Hov dated Mariah Carey before their infamous fall-out;
Jay-Z dating Rihanna was all over the news in 2006; before the "Disturbia" singer, there were Free in 2004, Shenelle Scott in 2000, Aaliyah in 2000, Christina Milian in 1999, Carmen Bryan in 1997, and TLC's Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins in 1995.
