Ever since the NFL saw how massive Taylor Swift's impact at the Super Bowl has been in the past few months, they're in talks again with the pop star to secure the halftime show slot for her in 2025.

Although Taylor Swift has repeatedly denied invitations to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, it would seem like she can get a nudge from her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

NFL Wants Taylor Swift To Perform At Super Bowl 2025

According to The Sun US insiders, the National Football League (NFL) is trying to get a hold of Taylor Swift to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show next year.

The sources "believe" that having Swift perform at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in 2025 could make it the most watched performance of all time in history. Influential figures within the league are "desperate" to bag Taylor Swift for the Halftime show, and they have been trying to make it happen.

They pointed out that Swift's mere presence at the Allegiant Stadium last Super Bowl 2024 skyrocketed the telecast's viewership, making it the biggest one since the moon landing.

The league has also understood Taylor's impact in attracting non-football fans and a younger, lesser-known audience to the show, ultimately propelling its advertising revenue higher.

"The ads could reach a cost of $8.5 million each, an increase of $1 million, or more," the source noted. "This year, it has been estimated that her presence helped generate a lot of money, estimated between $700-750 million. If she is the main artist of next year's halftime show, it's expected to generate more than $1.3-1.5 billion."

Could Taylor Swift at Super Bowl 2025 Be The Biggest TV Event in History?

A The Sun US insider also speculated that if Taylor Swift agreed to perform at the Super Bowl 2025 and the Kansas City Chiefs would make an astonishing three consecutive race to the finals, "it will be the biggest sports event ever broadcasted in America" as viewing figures could spike as high as 140 million.

While NFL fans continue to hate Taylor Swift because of her involvement, the NFL seems to like her presence all the more because of the people she continues to reel in.

"Taylor's relationship with Travis is probably the best gift ever made to the NFL," the source concluded. "It's a huge win-win for the league and them."
