Azealia Banks has a reputation as an outspoken artist, whether she's clapping back about industry woes or her fellow artists. In the past, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and Cardi B weren't safe on Banks' scathing rants.

Now, she taken aim at the woman of the hour, Beyoncé, and her husband, Jay-Z.

Beyoncé Announces' Cowboy Carter'

After Beyoncé surprised fans with the release of "Texas Hold' Em" and "16 Carriages," the conversation on the country music genre shifted. Beyoncé's foray into country, which was confirmed with the announcement of Cowboy Carter, had people talking about her and her history with the country music establishment.

In an Instagram post, Beyoncé explained what motivated her to release a country record. She said that the discrimination she felt when she tried to dip her toes in the genre inspired her to create Cowboy Carter.

"This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed...and it was very clear that I wasn't," Beyoncé explained. "But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive."

Azealia Banks, who had already slammed Beyoncé after she announced she'd be making a country record, has a lot more to say now after the Beyoncé's explanation.

Azealia Banks Slams Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter'

Azealia Banks unleashed a scathing rant directed at Beyoncé and Jay-Z in an Instagram story. She described Beyoncé's move to the country genre as doing "white woman cosplay" to reinforce the "false rhetoric" about the embattled genre. (via AllHipHop)

"Wow we didn't even try to put even a little effort into a more artistic title?" Banks wrote on Instagram. "Sis I live for whiteyonce Donatella Bianca Bardot DOWN, But I'm kind of ashamed at how u switch from baobab trees and black parade to this literal pick me stuff. Like u do lame stuff like bring out some black listed white women (Dixie chicks) at the country music awards and they would never ever do the same for you. Ur always sharing ur platform with white women who are so jealous of you but have such a long history of sabotaging other black womens careers."

At one point, she also aimed Jay-Z, whom she had accused of being the mind behind Beyoncé's new album.

"Ugh I'm so saddened by Jay-Z and his overstrategizing everything Beyoncé to the point where it's clearly his influence and not the real Bianca Bardot," she wrote. "Someone tell Jayz his strategies are corny and Beyoncé has better ideas. Like it's obvious why we got no burna boy action for Ja Ara E. We would like to hear some Beyoncé records without Jay-z on them. We would like to see her outside without him and his pound puppy dreadlocks breathing all over herrrrrrrr."
