Jennifer Hudson is sharing all her love and support to Beyoncé after her album, Cowboy Carter dropped. 

They recently reunited nearly two decades after their hit movie Dreamgirls was released.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the EGOT winner shared photos and videos of herself interacting with Beyoncé at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where the singer was honored with the Innovator award.

"I am so happy I got to be there to cheer on my Dreamgirls sister as she received the @iheartradio Innovator Award!!!" she wrote in the caption.

The musician further praised her good friend, congratulating her for her success and adding that she deserved all the recognition.

"Love u," she added.

Beyoncé Accepts the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Just days after Beyoncé released her country album, Cowboy Carter, the singer attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards to accept the Innovator Award presented by Stevie Wonder, who the singer credited for working on the harmonica on her rendition of "Jolene."

During her acceptance speech, the musician said, "Innovation starts with a dream. But then you have to execute that dream, and that road can be very bumpy. Being an innovator is seeing what everyone believes is impossible."

She added that being an innovator could potentially lead to being criticized, which tests people's strengths.

Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé on 'Dreamgirls'

Jennifer Hudson and Beyoncé portrayed the characters of Effie White and Deena Jones, respectively, in the 2006 movie Dreamgirls.

According to People Magazine, the story revolved around the fictional group The Dreams, which was set during the Motown era and inspired by the real-life trio The Supremes-Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, and Mary Wilson.

Aside from the two, other star-studded cast members include Eddie Murphy, Keith Robinson, Jamie Foxx, Anika Noni Rose, and Danny Glover.

Dreamgirls was a massive success, receiving several nominations in major award-giving ceremonies. It also became a classic favorite to many fans.

Beyoncé Updates

In other updates, Beyoncé released her new album Cowboy Carter, a country-centered record featuring major collaborations with musicians like Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, Post Malone, Linda Martell, and many more.

During its first week of release, the album was already successful after it broke several records on streaming platforms.

On Spotify, the record became the most-streamed album in a single day this year so far. Beyoncé also became the most-first day streams of a country album by a female musician on the platform Amazon Music.
