Have you noticed that the few times Kate Middleton has stepped out since announcing her second pregnancy, her look has changed? Sure, she still loves a classy coat dress, but some of her evening attire has included high slits, sheer panels and shorter lengths. When Middleton was pregnant with Prince George, she favored Empire waistlines, but this time she seems to be dressing sexier as she creeps into her second trimester. Her secret fashion weapon is actually a former palace personal assistant turned stylist.

According to Vanity Fair's Royal Watch, 27-year-old Natasha Archer has been helping Middleton think differently when shopping and given her the guts to try out some different styles.

"Initially Kate was a reluctant fashion icon, but now she enjoys it. Tash helps source some of the clothes. She shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on," says the source.

Apparently, Middleton is starting to accept the fact that she is getting a bit older but is trying to avoid falling into the pit of typical royal styles. She wants be seen as fashion-forward and on-trend, according to E!, something Archer is obviously helping a great deal with. She weighs in heavily on Middleton's possibilities, but in the end the duchess has the final say over what she wears when walking out the door.

What are your thoughts on some of Middleton's recent looks?  Do you like the fact that she is sexing up her wardrobe just a little, or do you think she needs to be held to a more proper standard because she is royalty?
