Kate Middleton may be royalty, but that has not made her exempt from a serious bout of morning sickness while carrying baby No. 2. We know Middleton was also briefly sick while carrying Prince George nearly two years ago, but this time around seems more serious. Several reports are now saying the duchess recently collapsed after a long night of sickness, leaving Prince William to insist his wife have an aide nearby at all times. Middleton has also taken several weeks off from her royal duties do to her sickness, but Queen Elizabeth recently insisted it was time for Middleton to begin showing up again. In her mind, royal duty comes first — period.

If Middleton is really that sick, then she belongs in a hospital, and if she is not hospitalized, she needs to be working. In the last several days, Middleton has made a few different appearances and has done her best to hold it together in order to make the queen happy.

Between being sick as a dog while caring for her toddler son and then having the added pressure of the royals insisting she work, this might just be the last baby for Middleton and William. The couple had originally talked about wanting three or four kids within about five years so they would all be close in age and hopefully grow up to be close.

This pregnancy has made Middleton seriously rethink their earlier plans. As of now, she is supposedly about 14 pounds underweight and the toll that everything is taking on her is a heavy burden to carry right now. At least Middleton only has a few more months to muddle through, as her baby is reportedly due in April.

Do you think Queen Elizabeth should allow Middleton to rest or is she right to push her to go back to work just like most other pregnant women eventually have to? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
