If you're a fan of VH1's Hollywood Exes then you're already familiar with Shanna Moakler. The former Miss USA was once married to Travis Barker, and after splitting back in 2009 the two have continued to live together to co-parent their kids. While it sounds like an odd arrangement, the way that Moakler explained it made it sound logical. Instead of shuffling kids, she and Barker take turns holding down the fort during their visitation time. Unfortunately, on Dec. 7 the former lovebirds got into a scary altercation that involved death threats and Moakler calling the police.
TMZ was the first to get their hands on the original police report, which indicates that things aren't nearly as civil as Moakler has made it sound.
"According to the docs — which were filed by Shanna so the family could be evaluated for a possible custody change — Travis said, "If I could, I'd put a bullet in your head." She then called the cops, who came to their L.A. home. Travis then told cops Shanna threatened to have her boyfriend come and beat him up.
They were then both cuffed, arrested and taken to the station.
Shanna told cops things have gotten extremely bad between the two of them. She said he would say to her, "F--k you bitch,' calling her a "f--king piece of garbage and calling her "a cigarette smoking, coke-snorting bitch." She also has an email in which he said, "My poor kids have a whore for a mom."
Shanna says the drummer's erratic behavior started after the 2008 plane crash — she claims he was suffering from mood swings while weaning off pain meds."
Neither Moakler nor Barker are expected to actually face any charges but this incident was enough to get child protective services involved. While it's great that the two haven't wanted to shuffle their kids back and forth between homes, maybe it would be in everyone's best interest if they actually did that.
