Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston to be with Angelina Jolie nearly a decade ago and it has somehow managed to be as big a story now as it was back then. It seems like the press is always trying to figure out where things stand in this Hollywood triangle, but according to a recent interview, Aniston says there really is nothing to discuss, it's kind of old news.

According to Page Six, the actress sat down for an interview with Marlo Thomas and dished her thoughts on the fascination with her split from Pitt and the supposed bad blood between her and Jolie.

"You know ... it's a made-up triangle. It's a made-up dramatic story line," Aniston told Thomas — who played Aniston's mom on Friends — on Thomas' Web series, Mondays With Marlo. "It's now to the point where all of us — because everybody is happy ... everyone's moved on — it feels very silly at a certain point to keep harping on it."

This is in line with her recently claiming that her ex did nothing wrong to end their marriage. Do you believe that Aniston has really morphed into such a forgiving person or is she realizing that until she officially says that this part of her life really has ended, the press is unlikely to let it die either? Do you think that she really is just fine with Jolie, now? Or is that pushing it just a little?

Do you agree that it's the tabloids and the media that have managed to keep relationship with Pitt and Jolie front and center for nearly a full decade? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
