Last year, Toronto Raptors forward DeMar DeRozan revealed that his buddy Drake had given him a new mixtape, set for release this month. Drizzy later confirmed the news during an interview with ESPN at the Toronto Raptors' Drake Night last month. However, the rapper and his OVO camp didn't release any other details on the project. Now OVO and Reps Up member P. Reign has offered up some new information on the mixtape.

"I know Drake's dropping a mixtape that I've already heard a lot of and it's crazy," P. Reign told Karen Civil while speaking about his excitement for hip-hop in 2015. "I think it's some of the best I've heard from him in my life, and I already know off Drake's mixtape the world is going to shake."

As previously reported, the upcoming mixtape would be Drake's first since 2009's So Far Gone, his first breakout project that helped propel him into the upper echelon of hip-hop and earned him two Grammy nominations.

In addition to his mixtape, Drake also has a full-length studio album in the works. At the end of October, Drake shared new music that will presumably be on the album, "6 God," "Heat of the Moment," and "How About Now." Titled Views From The 6, the album has not yet been given a release date, however it could be dropping in the spring, according to a verse on Drake's "0 to 100 / The Catch Up."

"We already got spring 2015 poppin' / PND droppin', Reps-up P droppin' / Majid Jordan droppin', OB droppin', not to mention me droppin'."

We'll update you as more information on the mixtape and LP become available.
