Clint Eastwood used the 87th annual Oscars red carpet as the place to officially introduce the world to his latest love, Christina Sandera. The two apparently met a while back at his Eastwood's Mission Ranch Hotel, where she was employed as a hostess and the relationship grew from there. They were first romantically linked last summer and obviously things have progressed enough for Eastwood to think she is red-carpet worthy.

Sandera is the second woman Eastwood has been linked to since his 17-year marriage to Dina Eastwood ended in August 2013. The iconic director was first spotted with Erica Tomlinson-Fisher, the ex-wife of the man Dina had left him for. Eastwood and Fisher seemed to be together more for the sake of convenience and a bit of revenge more than anything else, so their split last spring was not too surprising.

Since then, Eastwood has been linked to Sandera but chose to keep things fairly under wraps, at least until last night, Feb. 22. The two looked absolutely thrilled to be together and it is a good thing that Eastwood had Sandera as his bright spot, since his latest film appeared to be snubbed by the Academy Awards.

American Sniper has raked in $428.1 million worldwide and was nominated for Best Picture and Best Actor based on Bradley Cooper's performance, but many expected it to be really acknowledged by Hollywood. Instead, this year proved to be a tough field and Eastwood went home without a statue.
