Seemingly always either on the road or working on music, though those are not mutually exclusive, Skrillex continues his impressive output of new material. Last month he teamed up with Diplo as their duo Jack Ü to release the pair's debut artist album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü. In a new interview with an unlikely source, the International Art of Bowling, the "Where Are Ü Now" producer revealed that he had a new Skrillex album coming soon. The album would be the follow-up to his 2014 full-length Recess.

Skrillex -- real name Sonny Moore -- does not reveal more details beyond that, but fans will get really excited to learn that another full-length is on its way.

"Soon" is vague, so it would not be too much of a reach to assume the album could arrive this year. He has not hinted at any new music recently, though the producer has teased a few unreleased tracks in his recent sets. With the Recess rollout, there was little warning before the tracks started to be unveiled on the special app and website until the full official release a short while later.

Watch the interview below and skip to the 1:45 mark to hear his answer.

The news comes somewhat as a surprise with Skrillex just completing his album as Jack Ü and is still doing promotion for that. Diplo is transitioning himself over to Major Lazer that has an album Peace Is the Mission June 1, so it is not too farfetched for Skrillex to do the same.

Stay tuned for any new developments on the new Skrillex album front and we will bring that news to you.
