It looks like there will be no drug testing for Rosie O'Donnell in order to retain 50/50 custody of her daughter with ex, Michelle Rounds. At least not yet. We told you the other day that Rounds had gone to the press claiming that O'Donnell drinks a bottle of wine and smokes weed every night, making her not exactly the best caretaker for a 2-year-old. As their custody battle continues to heat up, Rounds had asked the court to make O'Donnell submit to random drug testing but after a hearing earlier this week, the request was denied.

According to a report by TMZ, "We've now learned the judge shot down Michelle's drug test request saying it wasn't necessary, at least for now. We're told the judge is satisfied Rosie is a capable parent so there will be no strings attached to their current 50/50 custody agreement. But the judge did rail on both Rosie and Michelle for blabbing to the media about the case. He ordered both of them to stop talking and posting parent-related matters on social media." explains a source.

Doesn't it seem like just about every part of O'Donnell's life always ends up messy? Either she's locked in a battle over whatever work project she is tied to or else her personal life is playing out in the tabloids. Rounds didn't exactly help her case by skipping this week's hearing though. After her allegations against O'Donnell went viral, she then opted out of showing up to face her in court. Rounds claimed that their daughter had been delivered to her with a fever of 104 and so she was taking care of her rather than heading off to court.

Do you think Rounds allegations are based on reality or is she just looking to complicate O'Donnell's life while slamming her to the press? Is this ultimately going to be dismissed as nothing more than a case of sour grapes or do you think that there's a chance that she will somehow score the sole custody that she claims to want?
