On Saturday, May 3, 2014, the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby will have race fans on the edges of their seats as they wait to see which horse will win the $2 million prize. In the lead-up to the big event, Christian and gospel music fans will be treated to music by Kirk Franklin and The Family, Amy Grant and Tamela Mann at the 2nd annual Grace at The Race - A Derby Style Celebration of Faith and Community Service.

With Tom Joyner serving as the host for the evening, the event will kick off at on May 1 at 6 p.m. at the The Galt House Hotel in the Archibald Cochran Ballroom with a dinner and entertainment from singer Cynthia Williams and artist Dominic Pangborn. Three individuals from the corporate, sports and entertainment areas will be honored for their commitment and contributions to community service while raising funds for Louisville based organizations that have a focus on children in under-served communities. At 8 p.m., the concert itself will kick off at the Kentucky Center for the Arts - Whitney Hall.

Tickets for the event run from $67 for the concert only to $155 for the dinner event and concert (reserved seating).They can be purchased on the official Grace at the Race website.
