Washington D.C. rapper Shy Glizzy is the latest of XXL's 2015 Freshman Class to have his freestyle and profile released.

In his freestyle, Glizzy name drops Lee Boyd Malvo, a sniper who terrorized the D.C. area, and calls himself the Michael Jackson of the ghetto.

Glizzy is currently gaining traction with his latest release "Funeral" featuring Jeezy. The Glizzy Gang head honcho is also prepping the release of his Glizzy Got Wings EP due out this summer.

He spoke on the significance of being featured on the list saying, "It was important for me [to be a Freshman] because I've been grinding on my own and I've been grinding hard, and it's just nice to see my work get noticed and appreciated. It was amazing. I know I had a great year myself, so just to be rewarded for that is great."

Most notably, Glizzy was featured on Boosie BadAzz's "Young N**gas." He's released singles including "Awwsome" and "White Girl," as well as mixtapes: Law 3 and Young Jefe. 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky contributed verses to the remix of "Awwsome" released last October.

Last month, Glizzy was featured on a track titled "Gangsta Sh*t" from Jeezy's surprise release Gangsta Party. He also made a cameo in Meek Mill's video for a freestyle over Drake's "Energy."

As previously reported, this year's cover also features Tink, Vince Staples, Fetty Wap, OG Maco, Raury, K Camp, Dej Loaf, GoldLink and Kidd Kidd.

This year's entire class is slated to play a big show together in NYC on June 30 at the Best Buy Theater and in Los Angeles at Club Nokia on July 13.  Tickets are on sale now.
