This past weekend, the dance music world had its gaze turned to Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway outside of Sin City in Nevada. However across the pond fans of less mainstream genres enjoyed music from equally respected, but not as big ticket DJs internationally at 2015 edition of Sonár Festival. One of those, which deviate from that trend, was Skrillex (real name Sonny Moore) and his set was recorded live. As to be expected, the video has made its way onto the web and we have it for you so you can watch all 82 minutes of Moore's live set, which includes selections from Fetty Wap, Jack Ü, his duo with Diplo, which recently released its debut album at the end of February, Wiz Khalifa, and Damian Marley.

He went quickly back and forth between hip-hop, electro and dubstep, adding in some curveballs like Los Del Rio's 1990s classic "Macarena," as well as Freddie Mercury's ode to the Sonár's hometown, "Barcelona."

Though the set was vintage Skrillex, it was a little too vintage Skrillex for the setting. Sonár is known for its slightly unconventional artists and for being a little different. Skrillex is an innovative artist and has amassed a wide range of songs stylistically over the years and has played some pretty eclectic sets with the likes of Four Tet, but this was pretty standard from him. The crowd seemed to love it, so he did his job for them at the end of the day.

Skrillex performed late night on Friday, June 19. Other headliners at the festival included Duran Duran, The Chemical Brothers, A$AP Rocky, fka Twigs, RL Grime, Flying Lotus and many more.
