Actress Jaime King and her director husband Kyle Newman recently welcomed their second son, Leo Thames, into the world on July 16. While some may make it look easy, being a mother is no joke. The proud mother is soaking up every moment with her children, feeling overjoyed and blessed to be given such an honorable role in life. When a connection or love for someone is so strong it can sometimes be challenging to find the right words to describe the feeling, which is why King teamed up with Juno Lucina to launch a new jewelry collection that celebrates the bond between mother and child.

"The motivation was to create something that could represent the sacred bond between mother and child, which is indescribable with words," King said to People about her new jewelry collection. "I wanted to find a way to express it through my creativity in the medium I know best: art."

King told ABC News, having two sons is almost "surreal," comparing it to a wonderful dream. After suffering through multiple miscarriages in the past, the Hart of Dixie actress has experienced both love and loss as a mother. Through these statement jewelry pieces, King hopes to express the magic that is childbirth and the gift of being a mother.

The 36-year-old actress, who named her close friend Taylor Swift as godmother to her new baby boy this March, collaborated with jewelry company that shares mutual values about being a mom. Juno Lucina is a diamond jewelry brand specifically dedicated to embracing and glorifying every facet of being a mother. Even the company's name holds significance. The name Lucina refers back to the ancient Roman mythological goddess of childbirth. Juno is a byname for Lucina, often meaning, "she who brings children into the light."

The collection features a pair of earrings, a ring, and a pendant, all available in white, yellow, and rose gold. The pieces will retail between $2,200 and $2,500. Excited about the line, King believes her new collection would make excellent push presents (a present given to a woman who recently gave birth).

"It's really hard to a pick a favorite because each one is so special and unique to me. I'm excited to see which pieces other moms love."

The Jaime King and Juno Lucina collection will be available to purchase on Sept. 8 through the brand's official website and exclusively at select Macy's stores this fall.
