Unfortunately for duo Beyonce and Drake, their collaborative track, "Can I?" leaked this past May before they'd had time to finish it and proceeded to go unreleased for another five months. But this Saturday (Oct. 3) Drake took it upon himself to release the track on his OVO Sound radio show on Apple Music's Beats 1 and it sounded much more completed than the version released last May.

The track itself is altogether sultry, with the entire concept based around Queen Bey asking, "Can I baby?" While Drake requests that "Before I turn out the lights, tell me who the f*ck you wanna be." Rolling Stone reported that it is uncertain whether the track will make the cut to be on Drake's forthcoming LP, Views From the 6, or if it will stay unofficial. It was released on the initial episode of OVO Sound to be on air after the free three-month trial on Apple Music expired.

According to Billboard, this is not the first time that Drake and Beyonce have worked together as the pair collaborated a few years ago on her self-titled album, Beyonce, back in 2013 with the track, "Mine." Drake's latest album, What a Time to Be Alive, with Future (which came as a complete surprise to fans) reached number one on the Billboard 200 charts in the first week of it's release.

Billboard reported that their collaborative album reaching that high brought Drake his second chart-topper of 2015, and it was released late last month (Sept. 20) on A-1, Freebandz, Young Money, Cash Money, Epic, and Republic Records, being only available at first through the Apple Music and iTunes store. The magazine also reported that it was released on a Sunday, which was technically off-cycle, due to the fact that most are now released Friday in order to reach the first day of the Billboard tracking week.
