Raven Symone just can't seem to stay out of trouble lately and recently came under backlash for her commentary on hiring people with "ghetto names." There was even a petition going around to get her fired from the show. However, she's not holding back opinions even after that and now she is the target of angry tweets disagreeing with her thoughts about the Spring Valley High arrest video that she expressed on hit TV show The View.

Billboard reported that Symone gave thoughts on the controversy this past Wednesday (October 28) on The View after-show. The Spring Valley High incident involved police officer Ben Fields, who reportedly assaulted a student and threw her to the floor when she declined to put her phone down in class. The Internet exploded soon thereafter when multiple videos of the incident emerged. The videos also depicted the officer turning her desk over. He will likely be fired over the incident according to NBC News.

According to E! News Symone's comments were, "The girl was told multiple times to get off her phone. There was no reason for him to be doing this type of harm," and continued with, "It's ridiculous, but at the same time you've got to follow the rules in school." Co-host Michelle Collins disagreed and countered with, "You cannot lay a hand on a student."  However, the Sherrif in the case is only calling out the amount of physical contact, not that the officer put a hand on the student.

E! News also reported the Twitter fire that Symone came under soon afterwards.

User @BadNewz_Brown tweeted, "The fact that people were even clapping after what Raven said blows my mind."

Followed by user @sharposey who further tweeted "How is Raven Symone still employed?"

But @coco_loko had the last word with a simple, "Raven..."
