Khloe Kardashian has been by Lamar Odom's side since he was admitted to the hospital, following being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. Now, she may need a break and reportedly took some time away from Odom to attend one of boyfriend James Harden's basketball games.
As reported by UPI, Kardashian was spotted at a Rockets game in Houston on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The Houston Rockets are the team that her beau, Harden, plays with.
Recent reports suggested that in the wake of Odom's health scare, Kardashian and Harden agreed to end their relationship so that Kardashian could care for her husband. However, IBT reported that although Kardashian says she will always have love for her husband, she and Harden did not end their relationship. E! Online reported that according to a source, Harden is being patient and is more than understanding of the situation.
"Khloe and James never broke up," a source told E!. "[Harden has] been so understanding and he knows that Khloe's love for Lamar is deeper than what most people can understand."
28-year-old Kardashian has reportedly stated how Odom's condition tends to go back an forth, from better to worse. According to E!, she stated "Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down. Things are progressing, but it's a very serious situation." The Keeping Up With The Kardashians Star is trying not to let what's happening with Odom affect her relationship with Harden.
In a recent interview with People, Kardashian explained how everything that has happened since Odom was found unconscious in that brothel has changed everything in her relationship with Harden. Although she is grateful that he is trying to be so understanding, she explained how she would also understand if he couldn't deal with it and moved on.
"He's been great with me, and I'm just allowing everything to unfold," she told the magazine. "If it's ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well."
Kardashian wants people to understand that she and Odom, 39, are not reviving their relationship. What she is doing with him and for him goes beyond an intimate relationship. "It's not anything sexual or intimate," Kardashian said of her relationship with Odom to People. "I want to be his support system. Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it's the same, except I'm here supporting him fully."
This is only the beginning of 2015-16 NBA season, which began on Tuesday October 27. Kardashian could be seen at many future games to watch the Houston Rockets, since she and Harden are reportedly still together.
