In January, Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found face-down and unresponsive in the bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home. Before the incident took place, family members were eager to find her help for the battles she was facing with drugs. According to a recent interview with People, Bobbi Kristina's aunt, Pat Houston, revealed she was planning on admitting her into rehab before the shocking incident took place.

Pat, who served as Whitney's manager, sister-in-law, and close friend, was almost like a second mother to Bobbi Kristina. Pat spoke with Bobbi Kristina, just a few days before her tragic accident, about making a change in her life, one that would start with getting some professional help for her problems with drugs.

"I decided she was going to rehab because that's where we had called to set up for her to go," Pat told People. "She didn't make it. She found out that I was coming for her, not to do an intervention, because I didn't want to go through that with her."

She admitted Bobbi Kristina voiced her opinion to other people regarding going to rehab "adamantly," telling others she didn't want to go. Bobbi Kristina told her aunt a different story. She remembers receiving a text from her on a Wednesday or Thursday stating, "I'm coming Auntie Pat, to talk, I love you."

That text would be the last time Pat would ever hear from Bobbi Kristina again. Later that same week, Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon found her lying face down in her bathtub. It was later revealed to People, she was under the influence the morning she was found.

Sources also told People, Bobbi Kristina used a variety of drugs on a regular basis, including cocaine, heroin, and Xanax. Following the death of her mother in February 2012, Bobbi Kristina found it hard to cope.

"I can't even begin to tell you how I was feeling and what I was feeling and still feeling," Pat told People. "I didn't know, I didn't know about the hard drugs, the cocaine. I didn't know about the coke or the heroin but when I did find out, you know, I addressed it immediately. But, unfortunately, she never made it."

Unfortunately, Bobbi Kristina never fully regained consciousness after nearly drowning. Doctors kept her on life support, until she was transferred to a hospice center in June due to her deteriorating health. Bobbi Kristina died on July 26 at the age of 22.
