Some of the biggest names in music and comedy will come together on November 10th for the ninth annual Stand Up for Heroes event at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The event, which will feature a mix of musicians and comedians like Bruce Springsteen, Chris Botti, Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Seth Meyers and Ray Romano, directly benefits the Bob Woodruff Foundation, an organization that works to raise awareness for wounded members of the military and their families, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Through the years, the event has produced more than $27 million in funds meant to help wounded soldiers. The event is nearly sold out, making
ticket prices  for Stand Up for Heroes on the resale ticket market grow steeper as the date approaches. Currently, a ticket to the event is averaging $253, with a get-in price of $81.

Bruce Springsteen has performed at every Stand Up for Heroes event since its inception in 2007. The "Born in the U.S.A." singer is undoubtedly a huge draw for the event, as he routinely packs a high ticket demand for his own tours. Last year, Springsteen and the E Street Band toured North America and tickets averaged $162 on the secondary market for all dates, according to data provided by TiqIQ. In 2013, an average ticket to Stand Up For Heroes averaged $297, 14% more than 2015's current ticket average. The good news for fans is that the evening will include surprise performances from other guests, creating even more anticipation for the event. Past performers have included comedians like Stephen Colbert, Louis C.K., Jerry Seinfeld and Conan O'Brien.

Those living outside of the tristate metro area can get to the World's Most Famous venue for this one-of-a-kind event by booking a New York City flight through Hipmunk.com. Travelers can enjoy other elements of the city by extending the trip, pairing the flight with a New York City hotel on Hipmunk starting from $95 a few blocks from the venue.

In 2006, Bob Woodruff was working as an ABC News correspondent when he was critically injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq. From experiencing the difficulties first hand, his foundation was created to ensure that injured service members, veterans and their families receive proper care and treatment.
