Sia debuted her new song, "One Million Bullets," off of her new album, This Is Acting, in audio version on Youtube this past Thursday (Nov. 26). It is the latest track that she has released from the album to date and follows her smash single, "Alive, which was originally written for Adele, and "Bird Set Free." The singer performed both on an episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by controversial candidate Donald Trump earlier this month.

"One Million Bullets" is more subdued than "Alive" but still features the singer's signature throaty vocals with a more subdued melody and beat behind it.

Her album, This Is Acting, has an interesting concept behind it which Sia revealed to NME in an interview, telling the publication that all of the songs she performs on the follow-up album to 1000 Forms of Fear were written for other people. Sia is known for penning tunes for her peers and has in the past written hits for the likes of Beyonce, Katy Perry and Rihanna.

"I'm call it This Is Acting because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn't go in thinking 'this is something I would say'. It's more like play-acting. It's fun," she said in the extensive interview.

Her performance of "Alive" and "Bird Set Free" was during her third appearance on the show this year, including the SNL 40 episode where she performed alongside Kanye West. The singer is known for her slightly reluctant, yet intense live performances and she didn't disappoint, donning a giant bow that covered most of her face and performing alongside an interpretive dancer. Her appearance on SNL was widely hyped as was the release of This Is Acting.
