In their 2 - 2 draw to Exeter, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp played a number of young players, and will do the same today so that they can have the chance to play at the coveted Anfield stadium.
"It will be a similar team to last time," revealed the German, who believes his young guns will be ready to perform on the big stage at Anfield. You never can be sure and I don't want to put too much pressure on their shoulders because they are young but it's another situation...It's a big chance for us to show the young boys that we trust them and it's really important, it's a real competition against a good team," the German coach said, according to Liverpool's official website. "It's the experience we need to play and all of the players are very excited, for a lot of them it's the first time in the starting line-up at Anfield. Anfield is a special place for footballers all over the world and I'm really looking forward to it for them and I'm happy for them to get this opportunity."
Meanwhile, according to Exeter City's official match preview, this will be the first time the team has played at Anfield since 1981!
