Carman
When Carman was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in February of last year, doctors gave the singer no more than 3 - 4 years even with treatment. Though he was facing a treatment protocol fraught with side effects and a terminal diagnosis, he never backed down or gave up. He made plans to record a new album, had the biggest crowdfunding campaign of 2013 on Kickstarter, raising $538,103 in pledges towards his $200,000 goal and started planning a cross-country tour. Big plans for a man on his death bed but Carman knew that God had put ministry in his heart and he couldn't stop sharing Jesus until his last breath - whenever that might be.

One year of hospital stays, ER visits, long days and even longer nights later, Carman was declared cancer free. He went into the studio and recorded No Plan B, which released in May. Now 16 months after being told he was terminal, Carman is on that cross-country tour, thanking fans and praising God!
