Carrie Underwood is still recovering from an accident.
"While there were no life-threatening injuries, she was taken to the hospital to be treated," a representative of the celebrity stated. "She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall."
However, Underwood recently revealed that she also had injuries on her face that needed between 40 to 50 stitches.
"There is also another part of the story that I haven't been ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up," she wrote on a post. "It's crazy how a freak random accident can change your life."
The 34-year-old then recounted that, somehow, she sustained injuries on her face that had to be stitched up. She did not reveal which part of her face was damaged.
Seven weeks after the accident, she is still on the mend. She warned her fans that she might look a little bit different even after she has recovered.
Underwood, who had to cancel a benefit show in Nashville because of the accident, has not made any public appearance as of yet. Fans have been wanting to see the singer and how the stitches made her look different, but her social media accounts were void of selfies aside from throwback photos and this one image where she covered the majority of her face with a scarf.

Fans did get to see her face after the accident thanks to Adrienne Gang of Below Deck. The actress bumped into the award-winning singer at a gym and the two snapped a photo. Underwood, wearing a jacket and a scarf, did not cover her face this time around. She smiled at the camera, but her stitches or her injuries do not look too obvious. In fact, Gang added that she did not even know about the "Before He Cheats" singer's injuries. Below is a photo of Underwood before the accident followed by the selfie that Gang posted. From the looks of it, the mother of one is still as beautiful as ever.
