Pearl Jam pays tribute to Chris Cornell as the group sings the hit song "Come Back" for the late singer.
Prior to singing the track, Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam's guitarist, told the crowd that their next song is for Cornell. The Soundgarden and Audioslave vocalist passed away in May 2017.
Days after Cornell's demise, Mike McCready, the guitarist of Pearl Jam, opened up about his former Temple of the Dog bandmate.
"Chris Cornell painted in song the darkness and beauty of life in Seattle... Chris means a lot to me today, as he trusted me to play on Temple. He handed me a dream in getting to actually play on beautiful songs. Informed how I would play on Pearl Jam records in the future, I believe. Gave me a break into the music business I'd wanted since I was 11... He was a friend I will miss. I miss you, brother," said McCready.
Pearl Jam Debuts 'Can't Deny Me'
On Wednesday, Pearl Jam also debuted a new single "Can't Deny Me." The band sang the song during its concert at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile. Vedder told the audience that "Can't Deny Me" is dedicated to the students in Florida who survived the shootout at a local high school.
Vedder also mentioned Emma Gonzalez, the Parkland survivor who became an advocate for gun violence, in his speech.
"We support you all, and Emma Gonzalez, we love you. We'd like to play this for them, and us," said Vedder.
During their live show on Wednesday night, Pearl Jam also sang "Release," "Of the Girl," "Low Light," "Animal," "Mind Your Manners," "Hail Hail," "Love Boat Captain," "Corduroy," "Present Tense," "Even Flow," "Dissident," "Give to Fly," "The Fixer," "Garden," and more for its fans.

Pearl Jam's South American tour will continue in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Thursday.
