Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco always has "High Hopes" in a new track from the pop-rock band's upcoming album, Pray for the Wicked.

This is the third single that the band released this year after "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" and "(F*** A) Silver Lining."

Panic! At The Disco New Single

Urie, the frontman and lyricist of the band, announced "High Hopes" on Twitter on Wednesday, May 23. He also explained the inspiration behind the optimistic new track.

"I spent too long not setting my expectations high enough, worried about how it felt to fail," the 31-year-old shared. "I hot a point when I realized I had to aim high and fail, fail, fail in order to keep growing. This one is for all of you who helped me go for it all. I thank you."

"High Hopes" is now available for streaming on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms.

Panic! At The Disco 'Pray For The Wicked'

The track dropped a few weeks before Pray for the Wicked is scheduled to be released on June 22. Panic! at the Disco first announced the project back in March. This is their follow-up to the 2016 album Death of a Bachelor.

The band's previously released single, "Say Amen (Saturday Night)," currently sits on the sixth spot of Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.

Of the new album, Urie said that he wrote Pray for the Weekend as a gift of gratitude to the fans who have supported him and the band along the way.

"After being away in New York for months doing Kinky Boots, I just wanted to hang out at home when I got back to LA," the singer-songwriter explained in a press release (via Billboard). "I was so revved up that I asked some friends to come over to my home studio to help me write about all the incredible things I've experienced the last couple of years."

Urie was cast in the lead role of the Broadway adaptation of Cyndi Lauper's Kinky Boots. The musical opened in May last year and ran until August.

The album is produced by Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter Jake Sinclair and released through Fueled By Ramen and DCD2. Preorders are now available via iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Music.

A tour, which will feature performances from Arizona and Hayley Kiyoko, is also set to kick off on June 11 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band will also perform in venues in Indianapolis, Detroit, Columbus, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Uniondale, Baltimore, Toronto, New York, and more. Tickets are now available via the band's official website.
