Justin Bieber apparently learned the hard way that sometimes you have to support for the same team even if you're a huge fan of the opposing squad.
During the first part of his Canadian tour, the Canadian pop artist paused from his electronic performance at the Bell Center in Montreal and spoke with fans; nevertheless, he was welcomed with the harshest boos after mentioning his hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
According to a Twitter user who shared the video on the platform, the "Peaches" singer said in wild disbelief, "How about the Leafs, though, huh? How's that playoff spot looking for you guys this year?"
"Auston Matthews is doing some work here in Montreal," the 28-year-old said of one of his buddies on the Leafs, who scored the first goal against the Canadiens in the first 36 seconds of the game over the weekend.
Justin mocks, "How are things looking for you guys this year in terms of a playoff spot? Maybe next year, maybe next year."
While the singer attempted to spark a "Go Leafs Go!" chant, the audience chanted, "Go Habs, Go!"
The audience continues to boo and yell expletives at Justin, who is still chanting for his side.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber's tour hasn't always been smooth sailing. His wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, was hospitalized on his tour and recently disclosed she had a serious blood clot caused by COVID complications.
According to an insider, the "One Time" hitmaker was "anxious, worried, and stressed," especially after learning what was going on, and was taking it extremely hard.
The model, according to the source, has been a big source of comfort to him while he has been on tour.
The YouTube celebrity was dealing with the daily demands of putting on a fantastic show, so when he had free time with the blonde beauty, he would spend it with her and enjoy every second.
Justin even dedicated a song to Hailey at one of the shows, and the audience erupted.
He told the audience, "She hates me when I put her on the spot. She's probably over there blushing."
"She probably hates me right now, but I love her. I love you so much, baby. Let's do the damn thing."
