Kendrick Lamar is releasing a new album, and just like "DAMN," this next project might be his biggest one yet!

After heavily teasing his huge return in the past few weeks, the "HUMBLE" hitmaker uploaded a new folder on his cryptic website that leads to a possible hint to his highly-anticipated next album.

Kendrick Lamar New Album 2022, A Double Album That Comes With A Book?

In his cryptic oklama website, a seemingly black folder was added to the initial two folders on the page last May 3, 2022.

After opening the folder, fans were led to another page where it contained only a photo of the rapper.

A photo of fans assumed to be Kendrick holds two CDs, each with the title of his new album, "Morale" and "Steppers," along with a subtext "Master's Copy."

Lamar has not provided any context on the two CDs, but avid fans think that the upcoming effort might be a double album, considering the hints. This is not unlikely for the rap magnate as he had always been generous with surprises.

Along with the CDs is a book with the full album title gold-printed on the burgundy cover. Although it may seem far-fetched, fans can't help but wonder if the photo hints at an upcoming book along with the "double-album" they also predict.

Aside from this, the last album marks Lamar's last project with Top Dawg Entertainment, his label since he first started in music - the book can be a chronicle of Kendrick's illustrious journey with TDE.

According to Eminem, Kendrick Lamar is the "Greatest Lyricist of All Time," which might also be true, considering he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize - one of the highest awards in literature and musical composition in the United States - for his last album, "DAMN."

Kendrick Lamar Album Title and Release Date Announced

Last April 18, 2022, Kendrick shared a press release on the same website, revealing the album name and release date.

Using his company letterhead, pgLang, Kendrick announced that "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" will be out this coming May 13, 2022.

Lamar also stated that "all factual information for this release will come directly from this source [website] only."

At the bottom, the rapper seemingly addressed fans and thanked them for their patience in waiting on the overdue album.

"Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers" will follow Lamar's award-winning fourth studio album "DAMN." The latter earned a Pulitzer, a Juno, a Grammy, a NAACP, and a BET, among other honors.
