After being immensely compared to Harry Styles, Mick Jagger has made some pretty outrageous statements.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, the 78-year-old rock icon spoke about their "easy relationship," however, he also dissed the "As It Was" hitmaker in the process.

Jagger said, "I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. Come on, and I was much more androgynous. He doesn't have a voice like mine or moves on stage like me."

He added, "He just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self which is fine - he can't help that."

Harry Styles has been a massive fan of the Rolling Stones star for the longest time that he even impersonated him in one segment on "Saturday Night Live."

But this wasn't the first time Jagger said something about Styles.

In the past, the rock star confessed he was a "massive fan" and that he liked the Cheshire-born singer-actor "a lot."

However, many fans are unhappy about Mick Jagger's comments about the "Don't Worry Darling" actor.

One Twitter user said, "Harry is a fan of Mick Jagger. Mick Jagger must feel flattered because a successful young man admires him. But old age is not always wise."

However, other fans believe that Styles isn't trying to emulate Jagger, but another music icon - David Bowie.

One person tweeted, "I think Harry Styles is more like David Bowie than Mick."

Another person remarked, "I've never seen Harry as inspired by Mick Jagger btw. He resembles more Freddy Mercury and Bowie's style tbh."

A third person said, "Harry Styles is giving major David Bowie vibes but in his own way. Love to see it."

A fourth person demanded, "Styles didn't end up playing Elvis, but he should *absolutely* play David Bowie in the eventual Oscar-bait biopic."
