The Disney alum turned pop star is currently on the road for the last few shows of her sold-out North American leg of the "SOUR" tour.

Olivia Rodrigo Surprises Fans With An Alanis Morisette' SOUR' Tour Duet

Taking place last night, May 24, 2022, at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California, Olivia Rodrigo surprised the sold-out venue with a duet with her mentor and idol, Alanis Morisette.

The two belted out Morissette's classic hit, "You Oughta Know," which sent the fans roaring in delight and jamming to the iconic song.

Rodrigo has publicly confessed that she considers the Canadian singer a major influence on her songwriting and singing career. The latter also served as a mentor to the young popstar.

Both singers were featured in a Rolling Stone podcast feature, where they interviewed each other to discuss their roots in starting out their careers as child stars.

Rodrigo started her career as an actress on several Disney Channel shows; her career took off after she took the lead role of "Nini Salazar-Roberts" on the "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series."

On the other hand, Alanis Morissette started on Canadian children's television on "You Can't Do That on Television," starting at almost the same age as Rodrigo.

The 47-year-old singer revealed that she has yet to give the "drivers license" hitmaker the "tour survival kit" that she had promised her during their encounter at the Rolling Stone feature.

Surprise guests on Olivia's tour are not that "surprising" anymore. In one of her Canadian concerts, she pulled out Avril Lavigne on stage and sang "Complicated." Conan Gray also stepped in and sang Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" with Rodrigo.
