It seemed like Gunna and Young Thug are doing fine in jail despite awaiting their trial in January 2023.

Lil Baby assured Gunna and Thugger fans that the two were fine despite their incarceration and bond release denial.

Gunna and Young Thug were among the 28 YSL Records associates who were arrested last May 2022.

Young Thug, Gunna Update

Just when Lil Baby was entering his vehicle at Reagan National Airport yesterday, TMZ got a chance to ask the rapper for some update on his two rapper friends - Gunna and Young Thug.

While busting out Future's "Back To The Basics," Lil Baby paused for a moment to answer some paparazzi questions.

According to the "Do We Have A Problem" rapper, Gunna and Young Thug are "holding up," with a thumbs up right after.

Although the response may be short, Lil Baby's claim that the two are doing well can be seen in DJ Akademik's recent post.

Over to Instagram, DJ Akademiks posted what seemed to be a video of Gunna's family video chatting with him from jail.

On the other hand, Young Thug's sister tweeted last week about Thugger's current condition, similar to Gunna's.

In that same week, Wunna fans were worried after a photo of the rapper went viral online. In the photo, the "Pushin P" hitmaker is visibly thinner and lost some massive weight.

"Damn got that boy stressed smh . Y'all imagine being a new multimillionaire, in the peak of your career then boom Rico . Y'all wouldn't be eating either," a fan commented on Gunna's photos.

Earlier this month, Gunna's bond release hearing turned unsuccessful as the rapper was denied bond again for the second time around.

The presiding judge has reiterated his reasons for the denial - Gunna's release would endanger the lives of witnesses as he might be involved with tampering and intimidation.

Young Thug, Gunna Arrest, Indictment

Last May 2022, Young Thug and Gunna were among the 28 YSL Associates who were involved in a massive grand jury indictment, accusing them of conspiring to violate Georgia's RICO Act, among many other felony charges.

The two's music lyrics, which were described as "violent," were used by the prosecution as evidence against them.

The two are both awaiting January 2023 trial and will be staying behind bars until proven not guilty of the charges.
