While awaiting his impending trial for his initial RICO charges, rapper Young Thug is facing another legal setback as the Fulton County District Attorney's office has filed another complaint against him.

Young Thug is currently in jail after being denied bond release, after he and 27 other associates of YSL (Young Slime Life), a gang he is alleged to head, was involved in a massive indictment last May.

Last month, Fulton County District Attorney Wallis said that two more indictments will be served in the next 60 days - based on her statements, this could be the first out of the two.

Young Thug Facing New Charges in YSL RICO Indictment

According to WSB-TV 2, Jeffrey Williams, aka Young Thug, has been served recently with new multiple charges on his RICO indictment case.

The new charges may be heavier than the initial ones - new drug charges and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a machine gun.

The information was not new to the authorities as the charges stemmed from the initial seizure conducted on the rapper's residence on the day he was arrested in May.

The indictment, according to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, still focused on the 28 Young Slime Life Associates but there is a striking difference.

Gotti and Duke's legal team remains confident that they stand a chance against the charges.

"[Yak Gotti is] looking forward to his day in court and is not guilty of all of these charges," the rapper's lawyer said to the news channel.

Meanwhile, Duke's legal team remained confident that her client would not be convicted on the initial charges and will be pleading not guilty to the new ones.

On the other hand, Gunna, who was also involved in the massive RICO case was not involved in the new charges.

According to Willis the new charges "bolsters" the prosecution's argument that Young Thug really served as the gang's leader for years.

Last month, Willis announced that there would be two more indictments to be served - with everyone turning their heads to Lil Baby. He then denied allegations subtly in a tweet.
