Lil Nas X is currently on his tour and he never fails to surprise fans with theatrics and high-energy performances as he recently danced to one of the most iconic songs of this year.

According to Uproxx, the 23-year-old musician is performing in different cities for his "Long Live Montero Tour" featuring the songs from his debut album "Montero."

However, during the opening night of his show at The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan, he used a completely different track in one of the performances.

As seen on videos circulating all over Twitter, Lil Nas X was voguing to Beyoncé's "Pure/Honey" from her hit summer album "Renaissance."

The "Call Me By Your Name" hitmaker donned an open-body pink outfit complete with a pair of heeled shoes. His backup dancers also wore similar outfits but in the color gold.

After the video went viral, many fans expressed their excitement and shared their thoughts on the performance.

"I LOOOOVVVEEE that he did this," one wrote.

"Omg this is what I needed today! Thank you!" another one wrote.

Despite the positive response he received, there were other online users who criticized him for the way he vouged, with some saying he struggled with the choreography and his "duck walk was a little crunchy."

Lil Nas X 'Long Live Montero Tour'

Earlier this year, the rapper announced that he's going on the first tour of his career, telling fans to come and buy tickets or else he'll "cry on Instagram live."

Lil Nas X will kick off his tour in North America by visiting cities like Miami, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Atlanta, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, and many more.

His last show in the United States would be at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California.

Aside from performing in North America, he will also visit European countries starting at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

He will also perform in cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, London, Brussels, and Barcelona.

It seems like fans will get new music after he wraps up his current tour as he previously teased that his sophomore record is "close to finished" after a fan asked him on social media.

However, details of his next album remain a mystery as he has not revealed any tracklist or official release date.
