Ray J has sent his fans online, scared and scrambling for his safety after he posted bothering updates on his Instagram recently.
In a now-deleted post, Ray J posted a string of worrying words that sent his 2.8 million Instagram followers to the edge of their seats Thursday evening.
According to screenshots and recordings of the actual Instagram story, Ray J contemplated taking his own life while sitting at the edge of what seemed to be a high point of a building.
"If it wasn't 4 my Kidz I would jump off and die tonight," one of the video's captions says.
As if the first post was not alarming, Ray J proceeded to post another photo of him sitting at the edge with his feet dangling - with the caption: "SHOULD I JUST JUMP off and end it rit. Now!!! ????"
He also went on to post on Instagram stories the following words: "trying to figure it out - maybe this life was a illusion - maybe the next life was my reality."
Following the troubling messages, fans showered the rapper with encouraging words and support online.

"Praying for you @RayJ pull through, brother. Don't let the devil win. He's trying to get victory over your life and God has bigger plans for you and your beautiful family," a fan tweeted.
"Your purpose is bigger then your problem.The amount of times we fall we get back up double that. Even in the darkest times God shows u you are in need u are important most of all u will make it through this storm just like u have done in the past @RayJ," another shared.
"sending my love to Ray J. black men & their mental health are extremely important and matters," a user posted.
However, according to TMZ, Ray J is already in good hands. Per a source close to Ray J, they revealed that the "I Hit It First" hitmaker is alive and well in Mexico with his wife, Princess Love, and their kids.
Apparently, he was just drinking when he posted the photos up. But it was his wife, Princess Love, who demanded to have the post taken down after it attracted a flurry of worry on social media. Ray J was not hospitalized and was described to be "messing around" when he posted the troubling messages.
In the past few weeks, Ray J has been in the headlines after reigniting a then-dead issue about Kris Jenner and his leaked sex tape with Kim Kardashian.
