Carrie Underwood is going on tour for her recently released album, "Denim and Rhinestones," and she gave fans a glimpse of what is to come on tour.

Just a few days before her first show, the "Blown Away" singer uploaded a video of herself performing the second single off her ninth studio album, "Hate My Heart."

"So excited to rock out to my next single "Hate My Heart" LIVE on tour starting this Saturday!" She wrote. "This was such a fun song to create with [Hillary Lindsey], [David Garcia], and [Hardy]!"

'Hate My Heart'

According to reports, Underwood worked on the song with some of her frequent collaborators including Hillary Lindsey, David Garcia, and fellow artist and songwriter Hardy.

"'Hate My Heart' was definitely part of my desire to have fun on this album. I wanted songs that would be exciting to perform live and would fill up an arena, and that's exactly what we're about to do with the Denim & Rhinestones Tour," Underwood shared. "This one is definitely going to get everyone up on their feet and having a good time."

The 39-year-old singer released "Denim and Rhinestones" in June and explained the vision and theme behind the album with Billboard.

She revealed that it took her quite some time for her to finish the album, as she started working on it back in 2020 and throughout 2021.

"I wanted to have fun from the get-go. That was definitely mission number one," she added.

Underwood's "Denim and Rhinestones" Tour will start on Oct. 15 in Greenville, South Carolina, and is expected to end on Mar. 17 in Seattle the following year. As of this writing, the country singer has only announced stops in North America.

Other stops include Indianapolis, Lexington, Rosemont, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Tulsa, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Miami, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Nashville, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Portland, and more.

Underwood rose to prominence in 2005 after winning the fourth season of "American Idol." She is known for her hit songs "Inside Your Heaven," "Before he Cheats," and "Jesus, Take the Wheel."

She has received several awards throughout her career, including eight Grammy Awards, nine Country Music Association Awards, and sixteen Academy of Country Music Awards. She was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, as well as the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.
