Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's breakup is reportedly the biggest heartbreak the singer ever faced.

After eight years, Lopez finally released her album "This Is Me... Now." It also serves as the follow-up to her 2022 album, "This Is Me... Then."

To tackle more about her musical project, Lopez sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 on Monday and revealed how their split became the most painful experienced she ever faced.

According to the 53-year-old "On The Floor" singer, she went through a painful journey after her and Affleck's wedding was called off.

"Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die. It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn't get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most would-never-happen-in-Hollywood ending," she continued, as quoted by PEOPLE.

This time, she shared how her new album aims to make everyone realize that love exists.

The actress noted that the album's message is about having things in life that can last forever.

Indeed, Lopez got inspired by her reunion with the "Justice League" star and created her 13-track album. Her new project reportedly reveals the things she went through in the past decades - before finding and getting back to Affleck.

Ben Affleck Is Jennifer Lopez's Biggest Fan

Elsewhere in the interview, Lopez noted how her husband became her biggest fan after hearing the album.

The "Maid in Manhattan" actress shared that Affleck knows all the words in the album and loves the music. Per Lopez, she felt all the love and support again when Affleck came back into her life.

Jennifer Lopez's new album includes the songs "This Is Me... Now," "Be Yours," "Mad In Love," "Can't Get Enough," "Rebound," "not.going.anywhere.," "Dear Ben pt. II," "Hummingbird," "Hearts and Flowers," "Broken Like Me," "This Time Around," "Midnight Trip to Vegas," and "Greatest Love Story Never Told."

Before dropping the album, Lopez told Vogue that her album would be the most honest work she has ever done in her career.

Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas in July after their engagement in April. They held another wedding at the actor's Riceboro, Georgia, home in August and welcomed only their family and friends.
