David Beckham sang "All I Want For Christmas Is You" with all his might, and Mariah Carey approved his rendition!

Only a few weeks before the Christmas season, more artists release new festivity songs to celebrate the holidays. Still, Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" remains on the top of the list.

One of those who made the song their anthem this year is Victoria Beckham's husband. In an Instagram video, the Spice Girls member records her husband as he sings the song while he sips a coffee and browses his phone.

The 47-year-old soccer player struggles to hit a note before finally noticing his wife taking a video of him. He does not disappoint as he smoothly sings the part "you-uuu" the way Carey does in the song.

After seeing the video, which Victoria also shared on TikTok, Carey left a comment saying, "My new fave rendition [laughing emoji, hearts, Christmas trees]. Love you guys!"

More colleagues also praised him and wrote positive comments on the clip, including Kelly Rowland, Derek Blasberg, and Eva Chen.

Mariah Carey's 1994 song "All I Want for Christmas Is You" has been a huge hit since its release. While it dominates the charts decades later, several songwriters revealed why the song continues to be more popular than ever.

Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" Is So Popular

Carey first shared the hit track through her fourth studio album and first-holiday album, "Merry Christmas." Upon dropping it, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" continuously received critical acclaim.

Every year since 1994, the song appears on several music charts and ultimately became a "yuletide tune" to people around the globe.

Still, upon its release that year, it only ranked 12th place on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Despite that, Carey's track made its way toward fame and popularity by sweeping the charts and beating other holiday songs.

It ultimately became a diamond record for selling more than 10 million units.

In addition, Carey scored three Guinness World Records amid its success - most weeks in the U.K. singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song, the highest-charting holiday song on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 by a solo artist, and the most streamed song on Spotify in 24 hours.

The success of the song also led its adaptation to reach several feats. Carey's children's book, based on the song, sold over 750,000 copies. She also released an animated family film, "Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You" in 2017.
