Lil Durk appears to be throwing some shade on his former collaborator Gunna following the blowback of his plea deal on his RICO YSL Case.

Last December 2022, in a stunning turn of events, has pleaded guilty to his crimes but maintained his innocence in the said deeds. He, along with 27 other Young Slime Life Records associates, was involved in a sweeping grand jury indictment that had them arrested in May 2022.

Very recently, Durk, Gunna's former collaborator, has taken to Instagram to post the most recent snippet of his upcoming song.

"What happened to Virgil? He probably gon' tell. I let him go because Timo ain't selling. Thank 7 and Booka, I'm bragging on Melvin. When lil boo and them mad, it ain't nothing you can tell them. I can tell you what I did for the streets. You got the paperwork, did it and reached. I got on Clubhouse and got in the beef," he raps.

Interestingly, Lil Durk referenced the song he had with Gunna in the new song, with eagle-eyed fans seemingly thinking that it was a dig against Gunna. Gunna pleaded guilty to the charges through an Alford plea or a best-interest plea deal. He has pleaded guilty to the charges in exchange for a commuted sentence. Since then, he was egged on by the hip-hop community for allegedly snitching on Young Thug in exchange for his freedom. However, Gunna has crushed allegations in a lengthy statement released days after his release.

"While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way," Gunna explained.

Aside from Lil Durk, some eagle-eyed fans have also spotted that Lil Baby and Meek Mill appeared to have unfollowed Gunna on their Instagram. Prior to being released, Lil Baby and Gunna were very close collaborators - collaborating on hits like "Heatin Up," "Chanel (Go Get It)," and "25K Jacket."

Meanwhile, Gunna posted his very first photo out of jail in a recent Instagram comeback photo last week, dressed in an all-black outfit in what seemed to be his posh living room.
