Ja Rule is not happy with the recent 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time snub.

Billboard unveiled the Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time, paying tribute to the hip-hop industry's GOAT. The magazine explained that Billboard/Vibe's ranking was made as part of its salute to the golden anniversary of the hip-hop genre.

It explained that the team that created the list based the result on the rappers' work, achievements, influence, longevity, lyrics, and flow. From a long list of rappers, it then came up with the final 50.

However, Ja Rule voiced out his concerns regarding the list, saying he feels he deserves to be part of it.

On Twitter, the 46-year-old "We Here Now" hitmaker shared a cryptic post expressing that he deserves a slot on the list.

"There ain't 50 rappers dead, alive or waiting to be born better than me... #ICONN #Vibes," Ja Rule wrote. "@billboard congrats to everyone on the list well deserved but check my resume... #ICONN #Vibes."

He later clarified his statement after publications posted articles that read "Ja Rule says there's no rappers 'dead' or 'alive' better than him." Per the rapper, he stands on the fact that he said there is "no 50 rappers" ahead of him.

Ja Rule's songs, per the rapper, also received similar spotlights as those who made it on the list. Among his hit songs include "Put It On Me," "Clap Back," "Thug Lovin'," "Holla Holla," "Always On Time," "Murder Reigns," "Down 4 U," and "Between Me and You," among others.

He notably created and recorded several songs for blockbuster films like "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. For what it's worth, he released "Life Ain't a Game" and "Furious" - to name a few - for the film franchise.

Aside from Ja Rule, Ice Cube also expressed his dismay over the list. Although he is one of the magazine's Top 50, he said that the publication's list "ain't hip-hop."

He told a news outlet during a quick interview at Los Angeles International Airport that his ranking as the 18th greatest rapper of all time is unbelievable. He also said that Too $hort not making it on the list was truly an "undeserved snub."

Thus, he called it an "irrelevant list."
