Motley Crue has been having successful tours in the past years, and the band expects to have more in the next decade.

Following Motley Crue's successful stadium tour in 2022, the heavy metal band is on it again as it teams up with Def Leppard on its ongoing World Tour 2023.

Having four decades of career leaves some of their fans with questions about how long Motley Crue will continue performing. Its bassist, Nikki Sixx, shared what the band members have on their minds as of now.

In a new interview with Brazil's A Rádio Rock, Sixx hyped fans by saying that he wants them to keep going until at least 2031 - their 50th anniversary.

"Me and Tommy and Vince [Neil] had this conversation. I said, I go,' What are you guys doing for the next eight years?' And everybody's laughing: 'I don't know.' I said, 'Why don't we just keep going? Let's just take it to 50 [the special anniversary for the band would be in 2031],'" he said.

Although playing until 2031 remains uncertain, Sixx assured everyone that Motley Crue's current tour leg would not be their last. According to the bassist, they are still having a blast; thus, they do not have plans to stop yet.

Motley Crue wrapped up its South American tour on March 7 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The band will resume its tour in Sheffield, England, on May 22.
