The Masked Singer is one of the many shows on television whose format is one of the most interesting.
From its musical performances every week, the mystery and the hype that the show has built every episode are unmatched. Fans of the show have to wait up until the very end to determine whose musical artist, from the most revered titans of the entertainment world to the most unexpected ones - the list could go both ways.
That is why everyone was especially thrilled when The Masked Singer unmasked The Wolf on yesterday's episode.
Who is The Wolf on The Masked Singer?
Performing The Doors' 1967 hit "Break on Through," the Wolf had some pretty telling clues.
A saxophonist by heart, The Wolf also revealed to have a few Grammy Awards. He even claimed responsibility for a few babies, including but not limited to Nick Cannon.
The Wolf also claimed to be friends with some megawatt stars like Andy Samberg, Jay-Z, and even Lady Gaga. He even performed the Oscar-winning song "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper on the show.
However, his performance of "Break On Through" wasn't enough, and he was eliminated in the round, which meant he had to be unmasked.
Zachary Levi and Dame Helen Mirren helped decode who The Wolf is. Even saying that the clue was "Timberlake." Elsewhere during the clue segment, The Wolf teased that he had a collaboration with Justin Timberlake.
Judge Robin Thicke was onto a good start with his guess: "Happening to be a soulful white boy myself, I know a soulful white boy when I hear him. I think that the Grammys, that this is a very legendary singer, as you said. I think that this is Michael Bolton.'

Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy agreed with Thicke, but Ken Jeoing thought it was Richard Marx.
And when The Wolf unmasked himself - alas, it was indeed the award-winning artist Michael Bolton!
"I could get used to being the Wolf! It's great, the audience is great, the show's great. But the audience, you guys, were fantastic!" Bolton said of his time on the show.
"Michael, it's an honor always to hear you sing. No one does it like you and you still do it so gracefully and effortlessly," Scherzinger added.

"It's about making this a beautiful world, despite what's going on, whatever the climb we've got to do our best to make it a beautiful world," the singer confirmed.
