Rina Sawayama's career is thriving because aside from being an international pop star, the musician is also now an actress as she recently starred in her debut movie, "John Wick: Chapter 4." However, there was one moment while filming where she got into an accident; what happened?

Speaking to USA Today, the "Cherry" hitmaker revealed that she "threw out" her back during the first week of filming and Reeves made sure she was alright and got the help she needed in order for her to recover.

"I threw out my back during the first week and he made sure that everything was available for me to get better," she recalled. (via Insider)

It appears that the musician immediately recovered from the accident as she went back to filming shortly after the incident.

Elsewhere in the interview, the 32-year-old global pop singer noted that she learned to push her physical limits in playing her first role as an actress. She also taps her mental strength whenever she felt tired on set.

In addition to being an impressive actor who has been working in the film industry for decades, Keanu Reeves is also known for his kindness off-camera.

In a previous conversation, Sawayama, who stars as Akira in the movie, noted that the actor was sweet as he constantly does things behind the scenes to make sure everyone on set is feeling okay.

In Rolling Stone's "Musicians on Musicians" segment with Shania Twain, the "Tokyo Love Hotel" songstress opened up about how she got the role, saying it all began when director Chad Stahelski and Reeves watched her music video for "XS."

Rina Sawayama New Song For 'John Wick: Chapter 4'

In early reports, the pop sensation dropped a new song for the movie as a part of its official soundtrack.

Titled "Eye for an Eye," the song tackles the story of the ultimate revenge which features lyrics that appear to be coming from a point-of-view of a person who's enraged.

"You've taken everything I love from me/Now, it's time I pay the price," the opening lyrics read.

The song was written and produced by Tyler Bates, who also worked on all of the movie's four installments along with Joel J. Richard.

Rina Sawayama's latest song is now available for streaming online.
