KPop fans are mourning the death of Moon Bin as the Astro member died unexpectedly at a young age. Aside from being a popular musician, he was also known as a dancer, actor, and model; find out more about the artist's passing below.

According to Rolling Stone, the musician died on April 19, 2023, he was only 25 years old. The singer's management, Fantagio, confirmed the tragic news by issuing a statement online.

Prior to the label's announcement, there have been reports circulating around the internet that the KPop superstar was found dead in his apartment in Seoul by a manager.

"Astro member Moon Bin suddenly left us and has now become a star in the sky," the company wrote. (Translated from Korean to English by Soompi)

As of this writing, Fantagio nor Moon Bin's family has confirmed an official cause of death as it's still being investigated by authorities, but BBC reported that authorities believe the superstar "appears to have taken his own life."

Otakukart reported that he had an estimated net worth of $2 million. The outlet also suggested that KPop stars earn an average of $346.4K to $458.4K annually.

In addition to his music career, the Astro member also earned money from acting and modeling gigs. Since he is a famous personality with millions of followers across his social media accounts, he was also a brand ambassador for major brands around South Korea.

One of his famous endorsements was the clothing brand Neikidnis.

Moon Bin Career

Moon Bin made a name for himself in the music industry starting in 2016, but little did some of his fans know that he also appeared as an actor in the 2009 Korean drama series "Boys Over Flowers" in a minor role.
