Beyoncé is a vocal powerhouse and has several number-one hit singles under her belt long before releasing her latest album, "Renaissance."
More recently, it has been reported that one of her most iconic tracks achieves a massive milestone more than a decade after its release.
According to Pop Faction, the musician's 2008 song titled "If I Were A Boy" has reached a whopping 500 million streams on Spotify.
This is currently her 10th track to achieve this milestone.
Beyoncé 'If I Were A Boy' Explores Singer's New Sound
Released on October 8, 2008, the "Alien Superstar" songstress previously explained to Essence Magazine that this song is a new sound for her.
The main reason why this was not her usual sound was because it's "broad." Despite not being used to singing this type of song, Beyoncé tried it out and it was a success.
"I had to try it, because I remember Aretha Franklin said a great singer can sing anything and make it her own," she added. (via Song Facts)

In addition, she embodied her role as Etta James in "Cadillac Records" as she expressed herself and it was bold, adding that the icon inspired her to do things musically that no other singer is doing in the industry.
Produced and co-written by Toby Gad, "If I Were A Boy" was the pop star's first-ever solo number-one hit in the United Kingdom, but she was able to top the charts prior with collaborators such as Shakira for "Beautiful Liar," "Crazy In Love" with her husband, Jay-Z, and more.

The 2008 hit song was straight to the point when it comes to lyrics and interpretation as the track revolves around role reversal when it comes to a relationship.
Beyoncé Fandom suggested that the song is a commentary on double standards within men and women, and the musician explores the thought of doing the same thing as her partner.
Unfortunately, from the female's perspective in the song, the woman has been taken for granted but didn't want to let go of their relationship.
"If I Were A Boy" was one of the songs on the singer's iconic album, "I Am... Sasha Fierce" alongside tracks like "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," "Ego," "Videophone," "Diva," and more.
