Johnny Depp has been tapping more and more into his musician persona these days; he even reportedly turned down a massive project before it went to his pal Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
According to reports, there is no bad blood between the two though, in fact, it seems like all is well because Depp and The Rock are both going to perform alongside Jelly Roll at the Grand Ole OPry.
"I'd like to get Johnny Depp to play on a record," the rising country rapper in an interview. "Even if I didn't say Johnny Depp played on it...just for me to know that Johnny Depp was playing the guitar on my record."
After gushing about the actor slash singer, Jelly Roll then issued a formal invite to Depp, If you want to get involved in my next album or if you want to come play at the Grand Ole Opry with me and 'The Rock,' we could set it up... I could try... It'd be great."

Depp is known for a multitude of roles, like Edward Scissorhands, Willy Wonka from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factor," and of course, who could forget his phenomenal performance as Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribean" franchise?
This is probably why fans were so shocked to find out that there are rumors that Depp will no longer be part of the forthcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie; instead, he will be replaced by The Rock.
There is little to no information on why Depp decided to let go of his iconic role, however, many suspect that it might have something to do with his controversial lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Johnny Depp, Amber Heard's Settlement
According to reports, Depp finally received the $1 million settlement from the "Aquaman" star, which he quickly donated to several charities, including The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Tetiaroa Society, Amazonia Fund Alliance, and the Make-A-Film Foundation.
The settlement comes several months after Heard was found guilty of defamation in December 2022.
The actress issued a statement after the loss, which conveyed her devastation and disappointment in the American legal system: "I have made no admission, this is not an act of concession. There are no restrictions or gags with respect to my voice moving forward.
"I make this decision having lost faith in the American legal system, where my unprotected testimony served as entertainment and social media fodder."
