The two-month summer flame between Kelis and Bill Murray has reportedly ended.
The Sun has reported that it was not the legendary 72-year-old "Ghostbusters" actor who chose to call it off but the 44-year-old "Milkshake" hitmaker.
Despite the split, the outlet's source claims that Kelis and Bill still greatly respect one another.
"Kelis and Bill had a deep connection - and despite their parting ways, that appreciation is still there," they said.
"They both live very hectic lives, so after a romantic whirlwind, they decided to go their way."
Back in June, a fan on Instagram posed an exciting query to Harlem-born beauty: "Ma'am, would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?"
Adding humor to their comment, they jokingly said, "Cuz damn! What is he doing with all that?"
She addressed her speculated relationship with the "Groundhog Day" star in response to this inquiry.
In her reply, Kelis stayed somewhat evasive, saying, "Lol no babe, I wouldn't bother at all."
Insiders revealed that both parties intend to remain on good terms but also look forward to moving on with their independent lives after the August split.
Their romance followed after a tremendous tragedy. In March 2022, Mike Mora, beloved husband of singer Kelis, passed away due to stomach cancer.
Soon after this devastating event, Bill Murray was seen joining Kelis on her summer tour - sparking rumors of a May/December romance between them.
An insider has revealed that the relationship between these two stars, despite their age difference, is one of friendship and fun.
