Millie Bobby Brown shared details about her wedding with Jon Bon Jovi's son, Jake Bon Jovi and whether the singer would perform at the ceremony.

Two years after they started dating, Jake and Millie confirmed their engagement and began planning their wedding. One of the questions fans had asked was whether Jake's father would perform on their special day.

Why Jon Bon Jovi Will Not Perform at Jake Bon Jovi and Millie Bobbie Brown's Wedding Revealed

On Friday, September 15, Brown appeared in a new interview with Today, saying that the rock star would not sing at their wedding.

According to the "Stranger Things" actress, her future father-in-law "needs a break."

"I feel like that's asking me to go and do a full-on play for everyone," she said. "I think the man needs a break, he doesn't stop. He's always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break. A three-hour break."

The 61-year-old Bon Jovi founder has been experiencing vocal issues over the past few months, leading his hotly anticipated reunion with his bandmates to stay in the queue. Guitarist Richie Sambora confirmed the issue during his interview with Absolute Radio, mirroring Brown's comment about the singer needing to take a little bit of a breather.

For what it's worth, the "You Give Love a Bad Name" hitmaker tested positive for COVID-19 in 2021, leading him to stop singing for two weeks. Several experts told Asbury Park Press that Bon Jovi's voice changed after the diagnosis.

"If you listened to him 10 years ago, everything seemed easier for him but he was in his 50s," vocal coach Matt Edwards said. "Now he's in his 60s and there are changes in the vocal folds, changes in the lungs, and people aren't going to perform at the same level they used to when they were younger."
