In 2021, Cyrus and Morando became the subjects of new dating rumors after they were spotted holding hands and dancing together at the singer's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party." Despite being known in the music industry, the pair have been keeping everything under wraps because of one heartfelt reason.
Why Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando's Relationship Is Private
In an exclusive statement to Life & Style (via OK! Magazine), an unnamed source revealed that Morando "prefers that they don't share too much publicly." Despite that, the Liily drummer is said to be supportive of Cyrus and happy to stay by her side during events.
"Miley has learned from the mistakes she made in the past," the source continued. "This is what works for her and Maxx."
Cyrus' new relationship is a breath of fresh air after her tumultuous relationships over the past few years, including her romances with Liam Hemsworth and Cody Simpson.
In her interview with British Vogue for its June issue, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker revealed that they struck a romance after they met on a blind date.
"We got put on a blind date," said Cyrus. "Well, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, 'The worst that can happen is I leave.'"

Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando's Romance Explored
In November 2021, Cyrus attended the Gucci "Love Parade" fashion in Los Angeles with Morando, with the "Angels Like You" soon posting a photo of themselves at the event afterward.
Romance rumors did not break until her NBC special, "Miley's New Year's Eve Party," aired, showing the then-rumored couple holding hands and enjoying the night together.
Morando notably worked on Cyrus' album, "Endless Summer Vacation," particularly on the material's tracks "Violet Chemistry" and "Handstand."
Aside from being a musician, Morando also enjoys his work as a fashion designer.
Before dating Maxx, Cyrus shared romances with Cody Simpson, Kaitlynn Carter and Liam Hemsworth. She was also previously linked to Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprouse, Nick Jonas and Justin Gaston, among others.
