Bebe Rexha was one of the first artists this year who experienced an on-stage harrassment when a concertgoer threw a phone at her while she was performing.

More recently, the singer expressed her true feelings upon performing for the first time after the shocking incident took place.

According to X107.5, the "Take Me Home" songstress performed at the Life is Beautiful Pool Party last week at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino's Citrus Grand Pool.

"Dave & Mahoney" spoke with the singer at the time and she was asked on what she felt when she took the stage again following the incident.

"I was so scared," Rexha said and although it was scary for her at first, she later shook off her jitters and performed throughout the night without worry.

One of the main reasons why she persevered that evening was her dedication to her artistry which brought out the best in her that's why the crowd enjoyed that night.

Bebe Rexha Gets Hit With a Phone

The recent interview comes a few months after Bebe Rexha performed at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City when a man suddenly threw his phone at the singer while she was performing on stage.

The musician was immediately escorted off stage and received immediate treatment by a medical team.

Unfortunately, Rexha sustained a wound just below her eyebrow which required stitches.

In photos shared on social media, the singer could be seen with a bandage above her eye and the eye area appeared to be bruised as it had a different color.

Bebe Rexha Concertgoer Who Threw Phone Arrested

According to the Independent, a man had been arrested following the incident. The perpetrator named Nicolas Malvagna, who works at a luxury dog kennel, was from New Jersey.

Based on the arraignment obtained by the outlet, the man told a police officer: "I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny."

He later faced two charges of assault and one charge of aggravated harrassment. He also faced one charge of attempted assault and one charge of harrassment.

As of this writing, there were no updates if Malvagna spent time behind bars.
